On May 1, 2013, Haiti President Michel Martelly addressed the governing body of the Pilot Program for Climate Resilience (PPCR) of the Climate Investment Funds (CIF) to stress Haiti's commitment to building resilience against climate change as part of its strategic program for climate resilience under the PPCR, which was later endorsed for $25 million.
